ChenglanAI FAQ

Questions

What is ChenglanAI?

A price-cycle analysis tool (Chinese name 澄澜量化) that computes cycle regime, major trend, stage and key levels for five markets after each close, with US option structure, macro data and events in the same chart.

Are 澄澜量化, 澄澜AI and ChenglanAI the same product?

Yes. 澄澜量化 is the Chinese name and ChenglanAI the English name, matching the domain chenglanai.com. 澄澜, 澄澜AI and ChengLan all refer to the same product.

Which markets are covered?

US (12,300+), China A-share (6,900+) and Hong Kong (2,800+) stocks and ETFs with major indices, 49 cryptocurrencies, gold, silver, copper, crude oil and natural gas, plus 56 macro series. US option structure covers the top 200 stocks and ETFs by turnover.

How is GEX calculated?

GEX = Σ(call gamma × OI − put gamma × OI) × S² × 0.01 × 100, using contracts expiring within 45 days, expressed in billions of dollars per 1% move. It assumes dealers are long calls and short puts, the common industry convention.

What is the gamma-squeeze candidate rule?

GEX ≤ −$0.001B, spot within 3% of (or above) the call wall, and put/call open-interest ratio below 0.8. It flags structure, not a forecast.

Is there look-ahead bias?

Every mark stores the first date it was knowable; replay shows only what was knowable on each day. An automated test recomputes on truncated data and requires identical results.

Is it free?

The web app is free during the public beta. API keys are a membership feature (5,000 calls/day by default).

Does it give trading advice?

No. ChenglanAI describes states and levels only and does not recommend buying or selling.
